Walter Anthony Romano

Walter Anthony Romano, 88, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on May 23, 2018. He was born on September 10, 1929 in Houston, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Houston and Spring, Texas, and most recently lived in The Woodlands, Texas.

He had long career working with Weingartens grocery in Houston, Texas. When he retired, he was working with this company in management. He was a veteran, serving in the Army for two years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emily Romano, and his brothers, Frank and Henry. He is survived by his wife, Ann, after a marriage lasting 63 years; his daughter, Diana Ostrovich; son-in law Edward Ostrovich of Coppell, Texas; grandsons, Charles and Craig; and his brother, Joe Romano of Sante Fe, Texas.
