

William Maurice (Bill) Haggard, of Spring, Texas entered into rest on March 3, 2015, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was 68 years old. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands. Born in Rossville, Georgia, Bill graduated from Chattanooga High School and attended Middle Tennessee State. He married the former Kathy McGinness of Chickamauga, Georgia, in 1967. The couple had two children, Courtney Haggard Wellmann of College Station, Texas, and Kevin Haggard of Spring, Texas. Bill worked for American National Bank and Combustion in Chattanooga; FMC in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and throughout Texas; and was currently employed with Cameron in Houston. His work took him to Japan, China, India, and Russia, to Ireland and Scotland, and to numerous countries in Europe. He and Kathy also lived in England and France for several years while he worked for Cameron divisions there. He is preceded in death by his parents Gertrude Slatton and Claude William Haggard, his sister Delores Burton, his brother-in-law Richard McGinness, and mother- and father-in-law Sylvia (Dickerson) and Richard McGinness. Survivors include his wife Kathy, his daughter Courtney, son-in-law Rodney Wellmann, their children Harrison and Chelsea, and his son Kevin, daughter-in-law Kristi, and children Meghan, Kaitlin, and Payton. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
