Bessie Mae Reddick Tysinger

She was born October 9, 1927 in Randolph County.

Her parents, Annie Mae and Joseph Grady Reddick, as well as the love of her life and husband of 64 wonderful years, Charles Richard Tysinger, preceded her in death.

Bessie is survived by her daughter, Gayle Flannery and husband Mark; a son, Richard Tysinger and wife Stephanie; 3 grandchildren, Charlie, Avalon and Arianna; 2 step grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob; a great grandbaby on the way.

Bessie was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Thomasville where she joyfully sang in the choir as well as serving the Lord in other capacities within the church. She retired from Wachovia after 30 years. She and husband Charles enjoyed their retirement years together. Bessie and Charles had resided with their daughter Gayle and her husband Mark up until they were in need of skilled care.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A 2:00 pm Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 29th at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Parsons officiating.
