Cindy Jean Tate, 48, of Denton, North Carolina, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021.

Cindy was born June 21, 1973 in Galax, Virginia, the daughter of Curtis and Nancy Calloway Tate.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, and two sisters, Penny Sue Tate and Mary Tate Graham.

She is survived by her mother; two sisters, Shelia Shell of Newland, NC and Melissa Tate of Greenville, NC. Cindy is also survived by two nephews and four nieces; two great nephews and one great niece.
