Julia Maxine Lott Bertschi, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 with her daughter Kathy by her side.

Maxine was born in Fayetteville, May 1, 1936 a daughter of the late Doyle Lott and Mary Jones Tadlock. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilbert Jacob Bertschi and a daughter, Sherry Bertschi Bauer. She attended several churches but her home church was Northwood Temple.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Bertschi; a son, Mark Bertschi; a granddaughter, Bonnie Bauer Smith and her husband Adam; a great-granddaughter, Rachael Smith; a sister, Susie Taylor and a brother, Lindy Lott and his wife Rita. Also surviving are special friends Charlie and Nathalie Overby, Sarah and Archie Fields, Peggy Tindell, Ann Owen and many more. Maxine also had many great-nieces and nephews that she cared for with all her heart.

A private graveside service was held at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
