Lisa Stewart Waller

Lisa Stewart Waller, 64, of Thomasville, NC, passed away on January 13, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 20, 1961, in Columbus County, NC, she was a beloved daughter of Ronald and Earlene Stewart.

Lisa's life was filled with love and laughter, particularly when she was surrounded by her grandchildren, whom she adored. She found joy in trips to the beach, where she could relax and enjoy the ocean. A pivotal moment in her life was when she accepted Jesus Christ into her heart on April 29, 2014, a testament to her faith and spiritual journey.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Stewart; her husband, Mike Hitchens; and her brother, Mark Stewart. She leaves behind a family who cherished her dearly, including her mother, Earlene Stewart; her son, Junior Waller; her daughters, Genia Waller and Amber Jones (Brandon); brothers, Timmy Stewart and Ronnie Stewart; and her sister, Marsha Rogers (Kevin). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Kadi, Little Man, Brayden, Melody, Jacob, LacyAnna, Donte, Addison, Emmett, Kaislee, Blayne, Blakelyn, Colsen, and Remee.

A visitation to celebrate Lisa's life will be held on a date in the near future.
