Marie O. Hunsucker

Marie Oldham Hunsucker, 96, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehab.

Marie was born in Guilford County February 17, 1927, a daughter of the late Jessie Franklin Oldham and Pearl Gertrude Denson Oldham. She retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company after 32 years of service. Marie was of the Methodist faith and she was preceded in death by eight siblings. Marie loved to shop and eat ice cream.

Surviving are three daughters, Judy Hellier, Patricia Kinnard and Heather Parrish (Reece); a son, Jeff Hunsucker (Sandra); five grandchildren, Kari Marshall (Larry), Jennifer Kinnard (Anton), Brandon Jacobs, Matt Hunsucker and Cameron Lambert; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. and after the graveside service at the home of Heather and Reece Parrish.
