Marshall Dalton Welborn

Marshall Dalton Welborn, age 79, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Marshall was born in Thomasville, NC, a son of the late James Edwards Welborn and Lillian Freeman. Marshall loved his family and loved the Lord. He was a great singer. Marshall was a "gentle giant."

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Alma Welborn; one son, James (Melissa) of Lexington, NC; two granddaughters, Emily McNeill and Jamie Welborn both of Lexington, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm Monday, October 16, 2023, at Sechrest-Davis of Thomasville. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
