Patty Ruth Thomas

Patty Ruth Thomas, 84, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Piedmont Crossing.

Patty was born in Davidson County, February 27, 1939, a daughter of the late Aldean and Lois Velna Petree Burr. She worked with Thomasville Furniture Industries for many years. Patty was a faithful member of Calvary United Church of Christ and sang in the church choir. She loved watching the Hallmark channel and doing word searches. Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Burr.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Frank (Kirby); a son, Jimmy Thomas (Teresa); four grandchildren, Tiffany Schoenhardt (Chris), Hope Thomas, Ashley Gibbons (Ryan) and Briceson Frank; five great-grandchildren, Adessa Robbins, Luna Schoenhardt, Cooper Thomas, Xavier Thomas, and Lola Frank and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Patty's life will be held at Piedmont Crossing Unity Place Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. The family wishes to thank the staff of Piedmont Crossing, Hospice of Davidson County and Carolina Senior Care for their loving care of Patty.
