Phyllis was born on August 11, 1938 in Horry County, South Carolina. She had worked for 37 years as a graphic artist for Cranford Silk Screen and was a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Earl Lupo in 1995.
Surviving are her sons, Gregory Lupo of Lexington and Earl Lupo and his wife Sheila of High Point; grandchildren, Kevin Lupo and his wife Amanda and Christopher Lupo and his fiancée Victoria.
A celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held at 1pm Thursday, Jan. 21 at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church with Pastor Luke Jackson and Pastor Wilson Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
