A resident of this area all of his life, Danny was born on November 17, 1944 in Guilford County to the late Jesse Zeke and Grace Dyer. He was of the Pentecostal faith and had worked as a carpenter for many years. Danny was an easy going man who enjoyed life, spending time with his children, and animals.
Surviving are his wife, Lois Lewis Dyer of the home; two daughters, Denise Dyer Gordon of Thomasville, and Londa Lewis of High Rock Lake; three sons, Danny Craig Dyer of Thomasville, Joseph Garren of South Dakota, and Thomas Lewis of Denton; three grandchildren, Haley Gordon, Tehya Dyer, and Kylie Lance; and brother, Tony Dyer.
Funeral will be 6 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, with Profit John Raymond Starrett officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
