Vernon Dennis Moore

MOORE, Vernon Dennis, 75, of Land O Lakes, FL. passed away on Sept. 22, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Texas Elizabeth Moore; daughter Donna Elizabeth McDowell (Steven McDowell); grandchildren Emma Elizabeth Best (Jared Best) and Brian Joshua McDowell; sisters Sylvia Campbell (James Campbell) and Blanch Waldron; serveral loving nieces and nephews along with their spouses; and uncle Junior Harrell. Vernon was loved by all epsecially for his out going personality and joking ways. He was a loving husband as well as a devoted father and grandfather. Vernon enjoyed fishing, camping, riding dirt bikes, gardening, and playing with his remote control cars. Vernon was in the US Navy serving as a fireman. He was a self employed trucker and a saved Christian. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at 1pm with a 2pm service at Sunset Memory Funeral Home 11005 US HWY 301 N., Thonotosassa, FL 813-986-2402. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with military honors.
