In loving memory we bid farewell to our dear Alice who passed away in her 97 year after a ten year battle with dementia on October 2, 2026 at Extendicare Brampton. She is survived by her children Louise Salisbury (Bob), Douglas Stoyanovich (Maureen Simonelli) and Carol Stoyanovich (Stephen Baksi), her grandchildren Michael Salisbury, Steve Salisbury, Kelly Salisbury (Josh Baker), Nicole Thorpe (Christopher), Lisa Cornelius and Holly Stoyanovich and her 10 wonderful great grandchildren
Alice is pre-deceased by her spouse George Stoyanovich, her parents George and Margit Gundersen, her siblings Ella Vollebekk (Roy), Walter Gundersen, Evelyn Hough and her twin Astrid McCarthy (John).
Alice will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend and neighbour who was devoted to family and loved every moment she spent with them. She will be remembered for making every holiday and family gathering special.
The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Extendicare Brampton - Norval for their compassionate care and support.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home - Thornhill on Wednesday October 14, 2026 at 10:00am
