Passed away peacefully on January 14, 2012 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Anne Vranesic (Zvonko), John Boyd (Carol), Penny Abbott (Don), Gordon Currie, Rod Currie, Kathy Schoeppich and her many great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Anne's good friend Carole Kowalchuk and her caregivers Louie, Joyce, Lucy, Ellen, Joy, Kim and the staff at the Palliative Care Center at North York General Hospital particularly Dr. Jennifer Hunter, Virginia Clark-Weir and nurses Ruth and Nadia. She will also be missed by her friends Shirley White, Diane Stephens and Belen Baccay. A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Park Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Hospital for SickKids (525 University Avenue, 14th Floor, Toronto, Ontario M5G 2L3).
