Died peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Castleview Wychwood Towers Long Term Care Home in Toronto, in her 80th year. Survived by her husband Donald, son Gordon (Younghee Oh), daughter Julie, grandchildren Colin and Emma and sister Mildred Lowe (Bruce). Born in Galt (Cambridge), ON in 1934, Barbara worked as a Lab Technician in Vancouver, Saskatoon, Regina and Toronto. She loved knitting, reading, travel, church work and being with friends. She obtained a BA at York University while working and looking after her home. Memorial service will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
