-(Toronto based Artist known well through his paintings of Toronto's street scenes with a partiality to 'Street Cars')-Lost the battle with cancer on Monday, April 19, 2004. Born in Athens, Greece on April 15, 1941. Came to Toronto in 1974. Graphic Designer by occupation, true artist in heart and soul. Over the years donated more than a few of his very best original paintings and limited edition prints to various charitable organizations. Most important were to the Canadian Cancer Society and through the Toronto Fire Fighters Association-Hospital for Sick Children's Burn Unit. A service will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street., North York) on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 11 am. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery. Will be missed by family and friends on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean and will always be lovingly remembered by his two children, Jimmy and Maria.
