(nee Boaretti) --Passed away at her home in the comfort and care of her family on Friday Jan. 7, 2011. She was a committed, loyal, and faithfully dedicated mother of Karen and her partner Henk, Janine and her husband Graham, and Mark and his wife Colette. She was so proud of her grandchildren, Renee, Brianne, Christopher and Matthew for just being who they are and loving them unconditionally. Following the death of her husband and best friend Roy of 50 years, she was able to move on with her life with the same zest and enthusiasm that we have all come to know about Bea. Bea dedicated her life to her family, her friends and her church. She enjoyed an active social life organizing gatherings, bridge and cooking her amazing traditional Italian meals. She will be remembered as a person who in times of need offered unending support to others and uplifted many spirits with her wonderful sense of humour. Bea was an active, faithful member of Blessed Trinity Parish and her strong faith helped her live life to the fullest. Bea was one of the very few women of that time who graduated from pharmacy at the University of Toronto practicing for many years. After raising her children, Bea returned to pharmacy after volunteering several hours of her time reacquainting herself with the profession. Please remember our mother for her strength, determination, and love for life. The family will receive friends at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St.), on Sun. Jan. 9th 7-9 p.m. and Mon. Jan. 10th 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday Jan. 11th at 10:00 am at Blessed Trinity Church (3220 Bayview Ave,) followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation www.pmhf.ca.
