Peacefully on August 31, 2013 with his family by his side, we announce the passing of our brave hero Braca, beloved husband of 57 years to Helen, father to Larry (Joyana), Angela (Jim), Christina (Stan) and cherished Deda to Philip, Yelena, Nina, Tiffany and Krystyna. Loving brother to Gina, Donna, Mika and the late Ljubica. Braca will be missed by all of his family and friends. Special thanks to the teams at Credit Valley Hospital who helped to maintain his life. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 2nd from 3-9 p.m. with prayer service at 8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
