Dear Vern and Family,
Anita and I are extremely sorry for your loss. Carol has always been loving and caring to us and always was very welcoming when we meet at our Rotary meetings or at social events.
She is sadly missed and attending Rotary meetings will not be the same without her presence.
Vern, you and Carol have demonstrated what true love and caring for each other is all about and we admired that.
Anita and I are sending you big virtual hugs especially at this difficult time. May Carol's soul Rest in Peace.

Dear Vern & Family:
Heartfelt condolences on a loss leaving a void that can’t be filled.

It was ALWAYS such a pleasure to be in Carol’s company and there was always lots of laughter. She put a positive spin on everything, including cancer. Although she had plenty of health issues over the years, she dismissed them and instead talked about her love of family and how lucky she considered herself to be.
It was not just a pleasure to be in her company, it was an honour.

Now, you are one of the angels Carol. Hope you’ll have time (once in a while) to look in on your earthly friends to comfort them.

May the wonderful memories of you help heal the aching hearts of your family.

With love & thanks for the time we had with you.

Ped and I have been blessed to have shared even a portion of our lives with Carol and Vern. Carol was an exceptionally lovely person and was very gracious, welcoming and caring when we joined Rotary, ensuring that we were looked after and not left alone to face a room full of strangers.
Vern & Carol formed a formidable couple and Carol’s exceptionalism is reflected in her lovely children and grandchildren.

May Carol’s memory be blessed and may Vern be strong and in good health for many years to come.

Carol will indeed be missed.
