It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mom on May 14, 2015 at Mackenzie Health Centre, Richmond Hill at the age of 81. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. After a life well lived she is predeceased by loving husband John, survived by her children Mary Anne, Lisa, Mark and his wife Cathy (nee Melito), Nancy, grandson Nicholas and sister, (Auntie) Mary Clarke. She loved her friends, travelling the world and spending time at her cottage in Timmins with family and special friends. Her kindness and smile will always be remembered. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 39 Green Lane, Thornhill. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Red Cross Society for the earthquake victims of Nepal.
