Our beloved Dan passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Jean of 50 years. Devoted father of Kim (Dino) and Kevin. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Adam, Mikaela and three great-grandchildren Everley. Kinley and Kennedy.
He was cherished for his great sense of humour and was a great mentor to his family over the course of his lifetime. His influence will be felt long into the future. He was loved in life and will not be forgotten in death. We will cherish and miss him always.
Friends may call on Thursday September 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 29, 2017 at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Parish at 10:30 a.m. (3220 Bayview Ave, North York). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
