Denise Marie Yates

(nee Broderick) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Denise, on January 5, 2008 at London's Health Sciences Centre's University Hospital in London, Ontario at the age of 59. There will be a large hole in the lives of many with this sudden loss and those who knew her will miss her smile, friendship and companionship. Denise met life with courage, dignity, humour and a sincere love for those close to her. She was a devoted and loving mother to Christopher and Darren, a trusted friend and loyal sister to Cynthia Butler, brother-in-law Gregory Butler, aunt to Andrea Butler, niece of Joyce and Russell Coull and Etta Bardwell, sister/friend to Jane and Rob Baird and loyal friend and companion to Tom Smith and remembered by former Husband Terrence. We will forever remember the unconditional love that our mother always gave to us and a large and loving network of extended family and friends. Relatives and Friends may call on Saturday January 12th at 12:00 p.m. at the RS Kane Funeral Home(6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding south of Steeles) and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. As an expression of Sympathy, donations may be made to the Trullium Gift of Life Network(www.giftoflife.on.ca) and/or London's Health Sciences Centre(University Hospital Intensive Care Unit) and/or Neurosurgery Department.
