Dorothy passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. She has gone to rest with her husband, Howard James Thomason, and her son, Howie Mark Thomason. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Hodgson; her daughter, Sandra Thomason-Gargoum; her grandchildren, Shawn (Corey) and Alexa; her great-grandchildren, Everlee and Brooks; and her beloved dog, Riley.
A longtime resident of Willowdale (Newtonbrook) for 71 years, Dorothy will be remembered as a top-tier bowler, devoted animal lover, and a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th, from 6–8 p.m., and funeral services will take place on Friday, October 17th, at 11 a.m., both at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J 6W6).
