On Monday, December 15, 2014 at Kennedy Lodge at the age of 77. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Cassidy. Cousin to Winnifred Sullivan, Sister Sheila, Walter, Vincent, Terrance, James, Arthur, Dennis Smith and Lois Hewitt. Our thanks to the Staff at Kennedy Lodge who took such good care of Douglas. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CNIB would be appreciated.
