It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Lisa Grossi due to pneumonia on August 5, 2025. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ellen Hughes, her father, Sam Grossi, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lisa graduated from Trinity College at University of Toronto and worked in the administrative area at a professional services firm. She enjoyed playing baseball with her coworkers after hours. Lisa also excelled in competitive swimming and cross-country running from a young age and throughout high school.
Lisa was sweet, kind and gentle and touched everyone who knew her. She will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home - Thornhill (8088 Yonge Street) on Thursday, August 14 from 1 to 2 pm. The service will take place after the visitation, followed by light refreshments.
The internment will be held on Friday, August 15 at 1 pm at the Greenwood Cemetery in Orangeville.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice which is meaningful to you.
