I was so sorry to learn of the passing your mother.  It was always a pleasure to see her at parent interviews.  She was so gracious, caring and passionate about each of you. Dear Bruce and family,
My heart aches for you and the girls as well as for Keith, Cheryl and their girls. We have such fond memories of our ski weeks at Sun Peaks with both of your families. We immediately felt welcomed and part of the clan. Liz was such a spark of energy and full of life. Such a warm and loving woman - her strength will live through her daughters. My memories are full of laughter, dancing and singing. She led a full and beautiful life but far too short. We are blessed to have known her. The entire Rawding family is sending love and prayers.

Auntie Liz was a bright spot in the lives of everybody she ever met. Her generosity astounded us. Her unceasing joy brought up everybody's spirit, as did her sense of humour. She loved music, dance, and the fine arts, and found it easy to show people what she loved about it, making us love it too.  She was quick to invite people into her life and keep them in her heart, facilitating friendships between her own friends, and making sure that no one was ever lonely.  

Auntie Liz was taken from us far too early and far too quickly.  I see Auntie Liz's generous heart matched in my Uncle Bruce, and in Sarah, Hannah, Emma and Tory.  I see her love of the arts played out in the talent of her children, and her commitment to people in her family's compassion.  She is an example we have all tried to live up to. I miss her.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Liz was a wonderful woman I remember her at the cottage so full of life enjoying family times. Sending you all Love and Strength. 

My Aunt Liz was such an inspiration to all of us. Her beauty, her love for her family, and her passion for life were impossible to miss.

What I loved most about my aunt was she had an incredible way of making everyone she met feel special and loved. She always knew what was going on in our lives, wanted to hear about our successes and encourage us along in the challenges. 

I see so many of her traits in each of her daughters. Her leadership, her beauty, her kindness and her humour, just to mention a few. I know that her daughters will be a wonderful tribute to Auntie Liz.

My dear Auntie Liz has kept me laughing and cared for me  for my entire life. When I've been sick or upset she has shown up at my door with a gift bag and shared the kindest words; her generosity was incomparable. She was my mom's best friend and my second mom. Liz will be remembered at any family gathering, holiday, celebration, and on most days of my life because she has changed me forever. I take comfort in the fact that her girls have learned how to love from Liz; they will always be a very special part of my life.

My heart goes out to you, Bruce, knowing that your best friend is no longer by your side.  Liz has always been so full of ambition, so loyal to her family, so hilarious...  I know your four daughters will prop you up with their love and kindness.

Sarah, Hannah, Emma, and Tory -- there is no justice in this.  It is unimaginable to think that your dear mom is no longer here for you in this world.  Together with your dad, Liz has inspired each of you to be smart, loving, loyal, strong women.  Her wisdom and love will stay with you. Audrey and Murray -- Liz loved you both so much.  My heart breaks for you, knowing that you are saying goodbye to your little girl.  What a confident, feisty, witty, beautiful daughter you raised.  It is so difficult to lose a child, and I ache with you.

I remember the lovely Walter girls at Havergal. Always gracious and smiling, ready to learn and to participate. Upon meeting Liz, and enjoying her hospitality and warmth, I understood how they were as positive and well grounded as they are.  So sad to hear the news of Liz's passing.
