Suddenly, on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at age 62. Predeceased by her husband Rudi. Beloved mother of Roger and Heiko and his wife Shelby. Loving Oma of Maximilian. Elke will be lovingly remembered by her mother Wilhelmina Schafer, her sister Dagmar and her husband Helmut Percy, and all of the Freitag family in Germany. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday July 4, 2004 at 1 pm. Cremation. Donations may be made in loving memory of Elke and Rudi Freitag to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
