Peacefully, on Friday November 14th, 2008 at Bayview Extendicare in his 96th year. Beloved husband to his first wife Margaret Louise Warfe and to his second wife Doris Warfe. Loving father of John and his wife Evelyn. Cherished "Grampa" to Michael and Steven. Our family extends a hearfelt thank you to the caring and compassionate staff of both Bayview Extendicare, Toronto, and Sherwood Manor, Napanee, Ontario.
Arthur's ever lasting legacy will always remain to be, his wonderful sence of humor and his ability to be a caregiver throughout his life. He was always content with what he had and his character will serve as example to family and friends who's lives he touched.
Friends may call on Monday, November 17th, from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Interment, Riverview Cemetery, Napanee at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
