Eva Mary Agardi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Eva Mary Agardi who left us peacefully on August 20 2025 at the age of 84. She will be reunited in heaven with her cherished husband Alexander. Eva was born on August 15 1941 in Budapest Hungary, where her roots of family, tradition, and kindness began.

Eva was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose heart and home were always open to others. She was the proud and loving mother of Eugene and Alex, and a cherished grandmother of Alissa and Cristina.

Known for her warmth, generosity and sense of humor, Eva had a gift of making everyone feel welcome. She was a fantastic cook, who’s kitchen was the gathering place for countless family meals. Her caring spirit and genuine kindness touches all who knew her, and her love will continue to be felt through the traditions and values she instilled in her family.

Eva’s life was a testament to love, family, and resilience. She will be remembered not only for her dedication as a wife, mother and grandmother, but also for her compassion, humor and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to share in her life.

She will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation for Eva will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill Ontario) from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church (432 Sheppard Ave East, Toronto Ontario) on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:00am. With an Entombment to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery (203 Queen St S. Bolton Ontario)
