Survived by son John, daughter-in-law Shirley, step-son Robert MacDougall, step-daughter Karen Jones, grandsons Brent, Jay and Matthew and sister-in-law Jean Rocca (Windsor), also by sister-in-law Joan Bovine (USA) and brother John Edward (England). Predeceased by first wife Lucille Frances and second wife Ellen. Served in the Canadian Army (Lord Strathcona Horse) for some years, including the Second World War and United Nations Korean Operation. On retirement form military service, was appointed Office Manager of Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLB, Barristers and Solicitors, and later served as archivist and firm historian. Also served as Trustee and Honorary Treasurer of Wycliffe College and later on the College Advisory Council. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Royal Canadian Military Institute. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 13 at 11 am followed by a private burial. Donations to the Clifford Trust at Wycliffe College would be greatly appreciated.
