Suddenly while on vacation with his beloved wife, on Saturday, April 21st , 2007, in his 82nd year. Devoted husband to Daphne for over 55 years. Loving father of Julian and Julia and her husband Kenneth Smith. Cherished "Grandad" to Cameron and Amy. Franklyn will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family both in Canada and England as well as many close friends. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007 at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow.
