It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Cynthia Rosettis of Thornhill, who passed away peacefully at home on November 4th, 2025, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Rosettis, to whom she devoted 56 wonderful years and missed dearly. Gail leaves behind her three children, Michael (Betty), Suzanne, and Patrick (Kathryn), and five grandchildren, Elaina (Derek), Matthew (Austyn), Colin, Alexandra, and Andrew. She will be remembered by her sister, Marilyn Nobert (Bernard), and Vicki Muscat (Greg). Gail will also be missed by her many other family members and friends.
Gail was an educator with the Toronto Catholic District School Board for over 30 years as an elementary school teacher, and then a principal for the latter decade. She inspired countless students with her compassion, wisdom, and love of learning. She will be remembered as one of the most generous and caring people that one could ever meet.
Gail had many varied interests. She loved reading, gardening, planning and hosting parties, gourmet cooking, spending time at the cottage, playing cards, boating, and travelling with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 39 Green Lane, Thornhill, on Monday, December 1st, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. After the mass, an interment will then be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, Thornhill.
