Gerald, known to most as Gerry, was born January 25, 1924, to Arthur Aldege Pelletier and Elsie Loutta Pelletier Martin (nee Lindsay) in North Bay, Ontario. He graduated from Woodstock Collegiate Institute, and later from Chemical Engineering at University of Toronto.
His wife, Marjorie Elizabeth Pelletier (Smith) predeceased him May 6, 2022. They were married for 70 years. Gerry is survived by his son Geoff, and daughter Janet.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Kane Jerrett Funeral Home in Thornhill, Ont., and a reception will follow immediately afterward.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to North York General Hospital, , or The Freeman Centre for the Advancement of Palliative Care at NYGH, or Baycrest Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
