Peacefully passed away on Wednesday September 1, 2010 at Scarborough Grace Hospital, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Johnson. Dear father of Bryan and his wife Olga and Larry and his wife Maureen. Survived by his brother Ted and his wife Isobel and their children Gail and Ken. Predeceased by his brother Bruce. Gordon will be missed and remembered by his colleagues at Connaught Medical Research Laboratories and friends from his Willowdale community. Friends may call on Monday September 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 7 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Interment Westminster Cemetery. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
