(nee Crowley)-Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the North York General Hospital, in her 80th year. Gwen, loving mother of Debra and her husband Tom Allen, and Craig. Cherished grandmother of Angela May Allen. Dear sister of Mildred Ludlow and her husband Harry, Pauline Robinson and her husband Douglas, and Joan Brown and predeceased by her infant sister Barbara Crowley. Gwen will be remembered by Harold, her nieces, nephews and many friends. Our family wishes to send a special heartfelt thank you to Natalie and as well the Palliative Care team at NYGH for their care and compassion. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at the Chapel on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Lung Association or the Freeman Centre for Palliative Care at NYGH.
