Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Helen in her 93rd year, predeceased by Clarence Dunning and Jacob James. Loving mother of Rowland and his partner Vivian. Remembered by Rosemary Dunning. Dear sister of Elizabeth Hickey and the late Angeline Boyd, Allen, Gordon and Donald. Loved "Grammie" of Julie (Mark), Christopher (Carla), Sarah (Alex) and "GG" of Camryn, Georgia, Reed, Ella, Lindsay, Maggie, Joe, Max and Isabelle. Helen will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue). Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, London, on Tuesday, January 10 at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Share Life.
