He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Mary, his children David (Paula) and Buffy (Chris), his grandchildren Matthew (Katie), Jennifer (Shane), Robin (Dave), and Andrew (Brooke) and great-grandchildren Emily, Hayden, Lauren, Nathan, Sophie, Douglas, and Juniper. Bert was a proud veteran, having served his country during the Second World War. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and he will be deeply missed by his family.
