Howard Joseph Cox

Loving father of David, Carolyn and Cathy. Cherished grandfather of Emily and Lisa. Rejoins in eternal life his beloved wife Joan.

Howard will be remembered as a strong man of faith who was devoted to family and loved every moment he spent with them. His relationship with God led him throughout his life. Howard was raised in Huntsville, Ontario. He began his career as an electrician, became a Professional Engineer and rose to the position of Director of Technical Services at Canada Post.

Howard loved the outdoors which included going to the family cottage and hunting with his family/longtime friends. He was a gifted artist and enjoyed singing. He unconditionally loved his family. His humility and sense of humour endeared him to so many.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital for their compassionate care.

A visitation for Howard will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, (8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J 1W3), followed by a funeral service for family and close friends at 1:00 p.m.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, you are welcome to join the family virtually through a livestream of the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Howard’s memory to Peoples Christian Academy or the Scott Mission.
