Peacefully, on Friday August 19th, 2005 at the Sunnybrook Hospital - Veteran's Wing, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Fletcher (1971). Loving father of Sandra and her husband Douglas Wallace. Cherished "grampa" of Lori (Michael), Karen (Kristofer) and Scott (Rachel) and "great-grampa" of Alexandra. Survived by his sister Gladys Brown. Howard will be fondly remembered by his dear friend Bernice McDonald and by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on Sunday August 21st, 2005 from 2-5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel on Monday August 22nd, 2005 at 11 o'clock. Interment, York Cemetery.
