Longtime Employee of the Provincial Government retiring as Assistant Provincial Auditor. Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on May 6, 2008 at North York General Hospital at the age of 85. Beloved Husband of Madeline and loving father of David and his wife Greta of Kincardine and Dave and Debbie Hayward of Stouffville. Loving Grandfather of Kory and Kelly McLaughlin and Kevin and Julie Hayward. His warm heart, sense of humour and sharp mind will be sadly missed by family and friends. Friends may call on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church(2737 Bayview Avenue,Toronto, Ontario). Cremation.
