Passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 21, 2016 at home, with his friends and family by his side, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Iren for 64 years. Loving father of Irene and her husband John Kirec and Papa to Christopher and Stephanie. Imre will be greatly missed by all of his family and neighbours. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24th from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 25th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation or First Hungarian Presbyterian Church, 439 Vaughan Rd., Toronto, ON, would be appreciated.
