Ivonne Z Hidalgo

Ivonne Zoila Hidalgo, our dear daughter, sister, partner, cousin, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 with her family and friends by her side, at the age of 52.

She will be dearly missed by her mother Rosa, her sister Monica, loving partner Diamantis, niece Jessica and nephew Nickolas, cousins, her uncle Pino and his family and all of her friends that she met over the years working at various TD Bank branches. Ivonne will reunite with her father Luis and brother Geovanny, who passed away in 2023 and 2018.

She was a remarkable woman who brought light, love, loyalty and strength to all that knew her. Her smile would light up any room and had an infectious laugh. The kind that made your belly hurt and made reminiscing so much fun; reliving the memories as if they had just happened. Ivonne was a wonderful friend whose kindness and generosity radiated. We will miss her authenticity, generosity, selflessness, positivity, her caring of others and humour. She would always make time for her family and friends, kept her word and always looked at life with a “glass half-full” attitude.

Ivonne loved to travel to sunny destinations at least once a year, enjoyed drinking wine with friends, music and eating Italian food and steak. She enjoyed pastries as she was a firm believer in the sweet and salty diet. She loved her cats and all animals that entered her life. Ivonne loved fashion and was the queen of high heels and stilettos. Ivonne would dance the night away with the right music.

Ivonne will forever be in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. May her memory be a blessing.

A visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON, L4J1W3, Canada, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
