On the afternoon of Thursday January 17th, 2008 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Caring and loving wife of the late Ted (Edward G. Jones - 2005). Daughter of the late Percy and Jean Gallagher and Marion Woodward Gallagher. Sister of George and his wife Nola Gallagher of Burlington, Fred Gallagher of Barrie, Pat and her husband Einar Fiskavatn of Kitchener, Barb and her husband Jim Cragg of Ottawa and sister-in-law Agnes Gallagher of Winnipeg. Predeceased by her brother David and nephew Glenn Gallagher. Survived by her brothers-in-law of Clifford (Paulette) of Parry Sound and Murray of Toronto and pre-deceased by her brother-in-law William Jones. Janet will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Saturday January 26th, 2008 at 1 o'clock. Interment, St. Matthew's Church Cemetery, Burlington at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke and Foundation or charity of your choice.
