Sue and I are sorry for your loss; I really enjoyed some chats with John, of course about wine and also, while receiving wine deliveries, about Labs.

To the Hanna family from the Preston family:  We loved him too, and will share in your mourning.  After such a long and unique friendship, we will never forget the guy who was outgoing, generous, friendly and musical (he tried).  But, we remember his love for his wife and children, his dogs, and his many great friends.  He loved everybody.  Also, his cottage and the lake.  He could also pour like a professional, not only tea and coffee.  Take comfort in the fact that Jack is in the regard and prayers of a great many people right now.  We'll keep on loving Jack and the family down the road.  From Rob, Joan, Sheri and Paul, and I'm sure I hear from Joyce as well.

My personal memories of Jack are of a consummate gentleman, both on and off the curling ice at the Granite Club and in his service to his many communities.  His quiet demeanor will be missed by many.  My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I am sorry for the loss of a wonderful kind hearted family friend. We all enjoyed many years of smiles and laughter together. Particularly in beautiful cottage country. Jack will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss.  Coincidentally, this weekend is the Granite Men's Invitational Bonspiel, which is where I first met Jack many years ago and had the opportunity to enjoy his charm and his sense of humour.  He will be missed.

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Hanna Family. The wine industry in Ontario has lost a true gentleman. We will always remember the wonderful wine tour he arranged for us on our honeymoon so many years ago. He will be in our prayers.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Hanna's passing.  Both Mr. and Mrs. have been our neighbors at Upper Canada apartment building since we moved in over 20 years ago.  We have enjoyed
many laughs and brief chats back and forth over the years.  I can imagine Dinah will be missing him taking her out and we will miss him as well.  Our most sincere condolences.
