Passed away on April 12, 2009 at Sunnybrook Veterans Wing at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (2006). Loving father of Lindy (Sandy), Nancy (Geddy), and Barbara (Frank). Devoted grandfather to Amanda, Julian (Lauren), Kyla, Siena, and Mia. Caring step-father to Graham, Finley, and Ishbel. Caring friend of his first wife Louise (2007). Friends may call on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Private family interment at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital or Alzheimer's Society.
