Passed away at his home on February 9, 2009. Husband of Gail. Loving father of Donald (Cathy), Christopher and Amanda. Cherished grandfather of Avery-Rose. R.W. Bro. Maurice Hamilton was a PDDGM and 33rd Degree Scottish Rite and member of Astra-Mount Dennis #599 Masonic Lodge. He was an ardent golfer at Summit Golf Club and a curler for many years. Friends may call on Monday, February 16, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. A Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
