We lost our dear Mother (aka Vovo Julia). She was the rock of our family. With a beautiful smile she loved to laugh, cook, sew and belt out the occasional tune. We will remember her epic generosity with her love and food. She and her hugs will be greatly missed. she passed away on Thursday February 22, 2018, Beloved wife of the late Afonso Manuel Cabral. Loving mother of the late Manny (surviving is his wife Helga). Joseph "Joe" and his wife Arlete and Julia and her husband Guy Belanger. Dear grandmother of Jennifer Guthrie (Paul), Jeffrey (Carmen), Cameron (Diana), Cassandra, Olivia and Claire. Great-grandmother of Kingston, Kennedy, Avi. Sister of Maria D'Almeida and the late Gabriel Pinheiro. Survivng are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents.
Mom’s legacy can be remembered by donating to the Manny Cabral Memorial Fund, which was established to support charitable causes, such as providing financial assistance to troubled youth.
