Justin Hamilton McCarthy

Surrounded by the love of his family, Justin passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health Centre on May 11, 2014 in his 77th year.

Justin is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Catherine, daughter Mary Jo and her son Aidan, son Jay (Amy) and their daughters Caitlyn and Charlotte, and his son Paul. He is also survived by brother Thomas (Katie-May). Predeceased by his parents, Justin and Josephine and his brothers Peter John and Rev. Fr. Paul J. McCarthy.

Justin was born and raised in Toronto and attended St. Michael's College School, followed by Assumption College at University of Windsor.

He married the love of his life, Catherine in 1963. He was the consummate family man and friend. He brought love and laughter into the lives of everyone he met.

Friends will be received at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding south of Steeles) on Wednesday May 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Celebration will take place at St. Gabriel's Parish, 670 Sheppard Ave. E. on Thursday May 15th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
