I cannot claim that I knew Konstantin well, but I have had the privilege of being friends with Anton since childhood. 

There is one memory that has been at the forefront of my mind this past week since his passing.  More than a decade ago, he scolded me quite harshly and quite rightly for my behavior, actions and overall attitude towards life.  One could say, he was certainly not my biggest fan a decade ago and for good reason. Since then, partly out of shame and fear, I avoided him

Yet, this past year, through his son, he offered valuable guidance and advice regarding my career.  Advice that is continuing to bear fruit in my personal and professional life.  It's a testament to the strength of character that Konstantin possessed, even through illness, he helped guide me. 

I bitterly regret not being able to apologize for the way I acted all those years ago and not being able to thank him for all of his support.

Konstantin's grit and strength of character will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life.

An amazing person.  Kon you are being remembered fondly.  Will always remember you as a great guy who spread joy with your presence.  Rest in Peace Kon.

We have known Kostik for over 20 years and it's incomprehensible that he left us so early. We will always remember his quiet humor, curiosity, intelligence and  strength. His last days were difficult, but he managed to stay positive and give us all a  gift of laughter and light.  Kostya's parting smile will stay with us always. I had the privilege of working with Konstantin over the past few years, and I will remember him with deep respect.

He was brilliant, thoughtful, and calm in even the most complex and tense situations. He carried himself with integrity and empathy, protected his team, and always tried to do the right thing.

More than anything, he was a good man.

My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed.

Konstantin was my go-to mentor, so much so that I used to joke “I want to be KG someday”. It was not only about how he navigated his carrier, rather it was his authentic, humble, kind, resourceful and grounded personality that made him so special to me. He somehow always made it look easy. I learned a lot just by watching him and even now when I find myself stuck in a messy work situation I still catch myself wondering ‘What would KG do in this situation?’
He had a way with people and such a full life that you could always relate to some part of his story and enjoy his company. 
He was the light and the anchor in the room.

KG, I have no words to express how much you will be missed. Yet there are so many things that will remind me of you- not only at work but in day to day life.
You are in my mind every time there is a new “Huberman Lab” episode. In fact, every day I wait 90 mins before taking my first coffee!
You will be in  my mind when I hear “Isak Asimov” name and his “Foundation”.
You will be in my mind when I watch “Ricky Gervais” shows with his dark sense of hummer.
You will be in my mind next time I am at "Chronic Ink", going through a new tat journey.
You are in my mind every time I correct my posture in long runs. can't say how sorry I feel that I never got to tell you that your hint solve my back pain issue!
I was lucky I got to work with you for the past few years, man.

Kostik was truly a wonderful family man  , as well as a dear friend. With his passing we have lost so much. He had an amazing sense of humour and kept smiling until the very last days of his life!
Kostik ones dreamed of diving to a depth of 100 meters in freediving, but sadly, his path turned out to be different - he ascended to the Heavens.

Hi, I wanted to take a moment to share a few reflections on my experiences working with Konstantin at IBM, especially during the time we spent supporting one of our clients together. Since we were both from Toronto travelling to Montreal, while at the client, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand Konstantin’s sharp intelligence and genuine eagerness to learn—qualities that consistently stood out, particularly when we dove into complex IT security discussions. Even in those highly technical moments, Konstantin’s remarkable sense of humour always managed to shine through, making our conversations not only engaging but also truly enjoyable.

Over the years, our professional paths crossed at various locations, and each encounter was a pleasure. Reconnecting with Konstantin always brought a smile and added warmth to my day. Those simple moments of camaraderie meant a great deal to me, and I know I will sincerely miss them.

My deepest sympathies go out to Konstantin’s family and friends during this difficult time.

I first met Konstantin and Elena when they decided to take up kitesurfing sport adventure. From the very beginning, I was absolutely amazed by the warmth, sunshine, and brightness Konstantin radiated to everyone around him. There was no challenge too difficult for him. I will never forget that very first day on the snow, he tried it in winter,  and seeing him finally ride past me on skies, with a massive smile on his face. I remember screaming with pure joy and amazement when a student does it first time. He picked it up so incredibly fast, better than almost anyone else my friend coach Denys and I had ever worked with. Beyond the kitesurfing hobby, we also worked together on real estate matters. Every meeting, every necessary phone call was an absolute pleasure because of the kind of person Konstantin was. In recent years, I also watched in awe as he conquered his passion, free fall diving and the depths through his beautiful diving achievements. I would often look at his adventures he posted and marvel at his bravery, making something I’d be terrified to even try look so effortless and natural. I simply cannot comprehend that this magnificent, vibrant man is no longer with us. My hands are trembling as I write this. My heart, my thoughts, and my deepest prayers are with Elena, the kids, and the entire family.  May God give you strength. He will be so deeply missed!

I met Konstantin through the freediving community. Konstantin personified the community itself- kind and welcoming. I always looked forward to diving with him, and appreciated his mentorship. He was an incredible diver but also incredibly humble about his skills. His passing is a huge loss for our community.

Even though for a long time we mostly met with him in freediving trainings and dive sessions in open water, we became closer during the last few months, since I knew about his illness.

Kostya was one of the kindest people I knew, always optimistic, smiling, and always eager to help everyone who asked for his help or his guidance. He was an exceptional freediver and he gladly shared his experience and knowledge of the sport with every freediver who asked for his advice, without any hesitation.

I felt the most safe when we trained together and I achieved my best results in my freediving performances when I knew that Kostya was watching me from the surface. I learned a lot from him.

Even during his last months he stayed very optimistic, joyful and positive. He was full of light and he shared that light with everyone around him.

He will be truly missed by many, many people.

My most sincere condolences to Konstantin’s loved ones.

 I had the pleasure of working with him and see how he genuinely cared about people. He was the kind of leader who constantly checked in, not just about work, but about how you were doing as a person. He made people feel supported, valued, and capable, even during the toughest moments.

Beyond his technical brilliance, he guided careers, opened doors for others, and led with strength, humility, and positivity.

He inspired confidence, built strong teams, and left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to work with him.

His leadership will be deeply missed, but the example he set of kindness, mentorship, resilience, and optimism will continue to live on through all the people he helped along the way.

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with KG over the past year. He was a leader I genuinely admired and looked up to. Even during challenging situations, just knowing he was there and had my back gave me a strong sense of reassurance.

He was always supportive, thoughtful, and incredibly inquisitive in the way he approached problems and people. It is heartbreaking to know that he is no longer with us.

What I am still struggling to process is a recent conversation when I checked in on his health. His response was, “I am doing great, and will be fully back to work soon". Looking back now, it feels like even while going through so much himself, he did not want others to worry.

Rest in peace, KG. You will be deeply missed.

Konstantin, I am still processing your passing. It seems so unfair. 

I will always remember your kindness and your positive attitude. And all the Freediving we did together of course. Seeing you win the Azul challenge here in Playa del Carmen after many years of training will always be my favorite souvenir of you. 

You now have your spot on my altar for Día de muertos so I can recall the Good times with you.

Enjoy the last dive, I will miss you  greatly my friend.

We knew Kostya, Alëna, and their kids for more than 20 years… meeting for Christmas and birthday celebrations, and sharing a few trips together. Over all those years, what always stood out to me was his rare combination of calm strength, maturity, and deep gentleness toward people.

There was something about his presence that made others feel more at ease. He approached people and situations with calm maturity rather than emotional intensity. Even in difficult situations, he carried himself with groundedness and clarity.

I remember one moment during our trip to Costa Rica, when there was a serious flood in their house back in Toronto. While everyone was stressed and overwhelmed, Kostya took a breath, calmly assessed the situation, and immediately began connecting the dots and finding solutions. There was no panic or frustration… just a steady sense of responsibility and reassurance that everything was figure-out-able.

Alongside that strength, there was also a deep warmth in him. It could be felt in the way he treated Alëna, their children, and the people around him. He supported those he loved quietly and generously, without needing attention for it. His care showed through presence and actions.

He also had a very special sense of humor… gentle, soft, kind, never loud or harsh. One of the things I remember most is how sincerely he seemed to enjoy seeing others happy. During that same Costa Rica trip, while we were taking surfing lessons, he stayed behind taking photos and videos for us with such genuine care and joy, as if our happiness truly made him happy too.

What felt strongest about him was that calmness and inner kindness. That quiet and kind strength is what I will remember most about him.

May his memory live on warmly in the hearts of all whose lives were touched by him.

Konstantin was kind, caring, humble and selfless. A good friend who celebrated me in my highs and stood by me during the lowest of lows.  He was honest and told me when I was wrong. My deepest condolences to Konstantin’s family and loved ones. I had the pleasure to meet  Konstantin at a freediving competition in Mexico, and even tho I was a total newbie in the comp, he was welcoming, warm, and passionate. His passion was contagious. I also met Anton at that same event. Great guy too. I am saddened by his passing. May you Rest in Power, Konstantin. It was a pleasure to know you.

I still cannot believe Konstantin will no longer be part of our community. Thinking about his passing makes me deeply sad, and it is hard to imagine our dives without him there, sharing his positive attitude and passion with all of us.

Konstantin was an incredible freediver, among the very best in Canada, and he proved it many times here in Mexico at the Azul Freediving Challenge. But beyond being a great champion, he was an even greater friend — always helping others enjoy the moment, encouraging everyone around him, and sharing his love for freediving with generosity and kindness.

Konstantin, you will be deeply missed.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of KG. As an exceptional human being and leader at Accenture, he had a significant impact on my career through his guidance and advice on how to navigate difficult situations. Many of us sought after him to get advice even after he moved on to other roles in the organization. He truly had a way to see value in people, advocate for them and help them grow. He will be forever remembered for this and an endless list of ways that he impacted us. Rest in peace KG

I was deeply saddened to hear about Konstantin’s passing. Although we weren’t very close, we shared many happy moments together that I will always cherish. I will remember Kostya as a positive, energetic, and adventurous companion—always ready to embrace new experiences. He was a loving husband and a devoted father.
His passion for diving and love for the ocean will stay with me, and I will think of him whenever I hear the sound of the sea. I may not understand why life unfolds the way it does, but I like to believe that Kostya is at peace, smiling, and perhaps visiting us in our dreams from time to time.

KG as he was fondly known in Accenture circle was a good man with great heart and strong business acumen skills. I had privilege to professionally work with KG during 2021 - 2025 at Accenture. He was always considered a mature adult in the room with exceptional ability to find solutions to some of the complex problems. Outside of work, we discussed many aspects of life including his love for diving. My heartfelt condolences to the family and his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace.

Konstantin was not only a remarkable diver, but a remarkable person with infectious passion, drive and kindness. He was beyond generous: sharing his knowledge and his coaching; asking in return only that you pay those teachings and kindness forward to the next diver. Many of us owe him a massive debt of gratitude for becoming better divers while training with him. Ontario freediving has lost not only an incredible instructor, but a model for how to nurture a community. He will be dearly missed.

It is difficult to describe the full pain of this loss—the grief and the sorrow. I will remember Konstantin as someone who could always find a reason to crack a joke or offer a kind word of support. There are no words that can truly express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Konstantin AKA. “K” was a dear friend to me and Greg.  Our friendship was simple and genuine. Loved our time together whether go for a  bite in a pub to going  bowling or go to amazing trips. I cherish all this memories together so dearly. He was loved by his family and friends and never be forgotten.

I am proud to have called Konstantin my friend. Elena and Konstantin first came into my life through our shared passion for scuba diving, but they quickly became much more than colleagues in the sport — they became true friends. Later, I was thrilled to see them discover sailing and join our club community as well.

One thing that always made me smile was hearing Konstantin talk about being afraid of the ocean or open water, despite being an avid scuba diver, sailor, and someone who set incredible personal records in free diving. That contrast was so uniquely him — thoughtful, humble, and quietly courageous.

Konstantin was always fun to be around and often had a completely different perspective on things, which made conversations with him memorable and meaningful. I will miss our dives together and our late nights playing euchre. He brought warmth, humour, and friendship wherever he went, and he will be deeply missed.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Elena, Anton, and Gleb, as well as all of Konstantin’s family and friends. He touched many lives and will not be forgotten.
