Peacefully, on Friday October 26th, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Teresa Lacey (2003). Loving father of Leonard and his wife Bernadette. Forever cherished "Grandpa" to Siobhan Mary, Liam Patrick, Sean Patrick and Margaret Jeanne. Survived by his dear brother the Most Reverend Michael Pearse Lacey and his dear sister Rita Lacey. Predeacesed by his sister, Sr. Mary Lacey IBVM, his brother Reverend Emmet Lacey, sisters: Eileen Weatherhead and Theresa Lauria. Leonard will be missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews as well as extended family and many friends. Friends may call on Sunday, October 28th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue), on Monday, October 29th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
